Apple-Walnut Kale Salad

Time: 45 minutes



1 Ounce Crumbled Blue Cheese

1 Tablespoon Cider Vinegar

1 Tablespoon Walnut Oil

1/2 Cup Sliced Celery

2 Cups Torn Swiss Chard Leaves

4 Cups Torn Kale Leaves

2 Tablespoons Toasted Walnuts

1/2 Teaspoon Brown Sugar

1/2 Teaspoon Freshly Ground Pepper

1 Cup Sliced Granny Smith Apple

1/2 Teaspoon Kosher Salt

1/4 Cup Sliced Red Onion




Combine vinegar, walnut oil, kosher salt, brown sugar, and pepper.

Add kale and swiss chard: toss.

Let stand 10 minutes.

Add apple, celery, onion, blue cheese, and toasted walnuts; toss.
